I hold a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Valparaiso University, supplemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Purdue University NorthWest Central. My journey in the counseling profession began in 2017, and since then, I have accrued a wealth of experience working with a diverse range of clients, encompassing adults, adolescents, couples, and families. My areas of expertise extend to addressing conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, anger management, stress, and substance abuse.
My overarching objective as a counselor is to foster therapeutic relationships characterized by professionalism and empathy, thereby facilitating the exploration of individual strengths with the ultimate aim of promoting a healthy and fulfilling life.
In my clinical practice, I draw from several established theories, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Psychoeducation. These theoretical frameworks enable me to offer a well-rounded and tailored approach to address the unique needs of each client.
