Dr. Lauren Hearn, PhD, APC, NCC

Dr. Lauren Hearn partners with clients in a warm, collaborative, and affirming way, supporting them through life's transitions, helping process challenges, and guiding the creation of lives aligned with their values and aspirations. At Flourish Family Therapy, she brings her advanced expertise, ethical commitment, and compassionate presence to foster connection, personal growth, and resilience.

She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Columbus State University and a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Georgia. Dr. Lauren is credentialed as an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). As a lifelong Gwinnett County resident, she offers a deep understanding of the local community, families, and schools in the Lawrenceville area and beyond. She works with individuals and families across the lifespan—from young children through adulthood—helping build lasting well-being amid everyday and complex challenges.

Dr. Lauren uses a warm, empathetic, strengths-based approach grounded in person-centered principles and evidence-based practices. She tailors therapy to each client's unique needs and goals, creating a safe, non-judgmental space for meaningful conversations about grief and bereavement, social-emotional development, behavioral skills, time management, relationships, and life transitions.
